Whether it's for a growing startup or a larger organisation, find out more about the finer details. We answer all of the pressing questions to help you make confident decisions.

Is a large initial rental required?

A big initial rental or deposit isn't an absolute requirement. A small or no initial rental is also an option, depending on budget and preference. Note that the initial rental goes towards the overall lease cost.

Is there a broker fee?

Some (not all) of our trusted leasing partners will require a broker arrangement fee to secure the deal. We highlight this where relevant on the deal page.

Do they come with maintenance included?

The cost of maintenance and servicing isn't normally included automatically in the lease deals, but our leasing partners will be happy to provide a quote for this if it is something that they can offer.

Is the warranty included?

Yes, the manufacturer warranty is included with a lease.

Is road tax included?

Yes, road tax is included and the cost is factored into the lease.

Can the lease period be extended?

Depending on the leasing provider, it's sometimes possible to extend a lease. And depending on the length of the extension, it will either be classed as a formal or informal extension.

Can modifications be made to the lease vehicles?

It's sometimes possible to make modifications, with the relevant permission. Such modifications will likely be restricted to minor and cosmetic changes, and they will need to be removed by the end of the lease.

What's the difference between in stock and factory order deals?

In stock vehicles have already been built, so delivery will typically be in 2-4 weeks. Factory order vehicles haven't been produced yet, and the exact delivery time may vary significantly depending on manufacturer and model, but it will generally be 2-4 months. We would recommend confirming the exact timeframes with our leasing partners.

What happens at the end of the lease?

The lease vehicles will simply be returned and as long as the contractual mileage hasn't been exceeded and there's no damage that goes beyond fair wear and tear, there will be nothing further to pay.

What if the mileage is exceeded during the lease?

If the contractual mileage is exceeded, then excess mileage charges will usually apply. These will be charged on a pence-per-mile basis. We would recommend checking with our leasing partners or the lease contract to determine the exact cost.

What's the minimum required age?

The minimum required age for a lease is 18. There's no upper age limit.

Can a fleet consist of different vehicle types?

A fleet can consist of different vehicle types, because car fleet leasing and van fleet leasing are both options for businesses. For example, a fleet can consist of a mixture of both cars and vans, or a mixture of EVs and petrol or diesel vehicles.
